About MeI am a current Junior attending Ronald Reagan High School and I'm currently enrolled in as an International Baccalaureate Career-related Program Candidate for the class of 2019. This program lets you take a step forward and opens more doors for you if you are interested in Health Science or Technology.
Some skills and strengths I feel I am particular good at or have would be communication skills and I also am an open minded person who is wiling to try new things and willing to hear new ideas. |
Language Development
Language is among one of the most interesting abilities on this world. Being able to connect, and understand with other makes you be more involved with your surroundings. I was born into a Spanish speaking household and was taught to speak English until the age of five. Long story short, the major focus on school and English had distracted me away from my native language. Coming into high school trying new things should be an option. For me I decided to learn Spanish to become more fluent and create a further strength that can benefit me in the long run.
IBCP
Reflective Project
The reflective project is an IBCP related project in where you begin to think like a professional and begin to think about the outside world. As I am a current heal and science IBCP student I decided to speak on healthcare. As you can imagine, healthcare is very controversial and has many different factors that lead up to it or can limit it. My reflective project ethical dilemma question was "Should healthcare be accessible and free to everyone, no matter their social status?" The first point of view is yes, it should be free because everyone deserves to have free healthcare and be covered for all treatments. The second point of view would be no, healthcare should not be free or provided by the government and each person should be able to receive what they can afford.
